Deleting A Page
Managing your website’s structure sometimes involves deleting pages that are no longer needed.
To delete a Page:
- Navigate to Dashboard > Website > Pages.
- Click the three-dot button next to the page you wish to delete.
-
You can then choose whether to remove attached media.
- Note: Removing attached media is Irreversible. Once deleted, media cannot be restored. Only text may be restored through change history).
- To back up attached media, click "View Attached Media" to review the corresponding media folder. You can also download the media folder as a backup.
-
If the page you want to delete has child pages, you’ll be prompted to decide whether to Delete the Nested Pages as well.
- Note: If you choose not to delete the nested pages, they will be moved to reside underneath /.
When deleting a page, always keep in mind whether the page URL is still in use in other places (e.g., marketing newsletters, advertising campaigns, affiliate programs, etc.). If so, you will need to create a page redirector to prevent visitors from being led to a 404 page.
